INVASIVE SPECIES MANAGEMENT
Work to remove and combat the spread of invasive plant and animal species is ongoing to restore and protect important native ecosystems.
FLOOD PREVENTION
Site assessments and preliminary design are underway for a detention basin to be installed along the flood-prone gulch of Kūlanihākoʻi.
AXIS DEER MITIGATION
A pilot project that utilizes R-1 wastewater as irrigation to re-establish ground cover and grow forage for cattle on landscapes that have been denuded by axis deer.
